The contrast is in everybody’s face. Politics around the world are taking weird turns. Weather patterns are changing. The planet is shaking like we’ve never seen before. And many of our relationships are breaking down or coming to an end.
What the hell is happening here?
Are things all around us falling apart, or are they falling into place?
The Spanish poet Ramón de Campoamor once wrote, “In this deceiving world there are no truths nor lies, for, in the end, it all depends on the eyes looking at the world.”
And that is the point I’d like you to consider while you listen to today’s podcast. That whatever it is that’s happening in your world, in your finances, in your career, and in the most intimate of your relationships, you have two ways through which to see it.
You can look at it through fear, or you can look at it through love.
When you look through fear, the world is a scary, dangerous place. You feel anxious and insecure, act defensively. You feel jealous and constantly worry about the future. And any action you take from a place of fear, can only generate more fear.
But when you see through love, the world looks nurturing and supportive. You feel safe, calm, trusting. This loving state does not proceed from the mind, but rather, it radiates from the heart.
Through love you see the essence of a situation and not the details. You see the whole and not the parts. Love replaces your limited perception with a vision and a deeper understanding of what is really going on.
